Do ya love me?

   Denmark looked at Norway, "Do you love me, Norge?"
  Norway, in return, nearly choked on the water he was drinking, "W-What?!" He tried to make his voice sound calm like usual but failed miserably.
  "I asked if you loved me."
  Norway stared at him for a minute, "Why would you ask that?" Denmark shrugged and Norway mumbled something incoherent to him.
  "What was that?" Denmark raised an eyebrow, "I can't hear you from all the way over there." He grinned at his Norwegian lover. Norway rolled his eyes but walked over to the couch Denmark was sitting on anyway. The older grabbed his waist and pulled Norway onto his lap.  Denmark grinned, "Repeat that?"
  Norway looked away, "I said that you should already know I love you, idiot...."
  Denmark laughed, "It's just nice to hear it from you. Usually I say, 'Love you, Norge!' and all you do is call me stupid."
  There was something about the way Denmark said this, a hint of sadness in his usually happy Danish-accented voice. Norway took his boyfriend's arms and wrapped them around his waist.
  "You stupid Dane...." Norway put a quick kiss on his lips.
  "You lovely Norwegian...." Denmark put his forehead on the crook of Norway's neck, giving him butterfly kisses.
  "Jeg elsker dig." They said and smiled softly at the same time.
